Spencer Carlson is a Wealth Advisor Associate at Palomar Associates, and is dedicated in helping individuals, families, and business owners make confident, well-informed decisions about their financial lives, their firms and their future. He greatly enjoys walking alongside clients as they grow in their understanding of sound financial strategies, and gain confidence in applying them to their own unique circumstances.

Spencer began his career in operations at one of the nation’s largest life insurance companies, where he developed a strong foundation in the mechanics of the financial industry. Seeking more technical work, he later joined a small firm that provides benefits administration software for the Taft-Hartley industry. Throughout his career, however, his interest in financial planning, that was sparked during his college years, continued to grow. That calling ultimately led him to Palomar, where he now helps clients simplify their financial lives, manage risk thoughtfully, reduce taxes, and plan intentionally for long-term financial independence.

A graduate of Stanford University, Spencer lives in Temecula, California, with his wife Genevieve. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, serving at church, hiking and exploring his long-standing interest in astronomy.
