Derrick Fox
Derrick Fox oversees Palomar Advisors business advisement efforts. Derrick came to love entrepreneurship by working with his father at a young age in his businesses as a grocery retailer and beer distributor. His father’s methodologies and models of operations and efficiencies for success still ring true today.
After graduating from Boise State University (BA) Communication in 1988 Derrick worked nine years in marketing for Fortune 500 Equifax achieving the prestigious Eagle Award and two Sales Associate of the Year honors. From 1989 to 2025 Derrick was also the Managing Partner of Summit Athletes as a NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor negotiating contracts while working with NFL General Managers, Player Personnel Directors, University Athletic Directors, Sponsors, and Promoters. . Under Derick’s management he served more than 150 professional athletes that participated in the Super Bowl and Pro Bowl.
Today Derrick applies his wealth of experience assisting entrepreneurs by analyzing their annual operations to maximize efficiencies resulting in their best valuation regarding succession planning.
Derrick resides in Temecula where he enjoys all outdoor activities especially golfing.
